Our Cleaning Services framework offers a high-quality, flexible procurement solution for a wide range of cleaning requirements across the Welsh public sector.
Specifically designed for Housing Associations and local authorities, it ensures access to pre-vetted specialists while maintaining full compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) and the Welsh Procurement Policy Note (WPPN).
With a maximum award value of £4,000,000.00, this framework leverages the collective buying power of Barcud Shared Services clients and members to drive significant value for money without compromising on local quality.
Specialised Lots
To ensure technical excellence, the framework is split into 12 specialised lots:
- Lot 1: Building Exterior – Dedicated cleaning of external building facades and surfaces to improve aesthetic appeal and preserve the long-term integrity of the property envelope.
- Lot 2: Clear Outs and Waste Clearance – Efficient removal and ethical disposal of household waste, bulky items, and debris from properties and surrounding grounds to maintain safe environments.
- Lot 3: Communal Areas – Regular, scheduled cleaning of shared internal spaces, such as hallways and stairwells, to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Lot 4: Gardens – General maintenance and clearing of domestic and communal outdoor green spaces to ensure they remain tidy, accessible, and safe for the community.
- Lot 5: Graffiti – Rapid and effective removal of graffiti from various building surfaces using specialised techniques that restore the area without damaging the underlying material.
- Lot 6: Guttering – Essential clearing and cleaning of guttering and downpipes to prevent blockages and protect properties from the risks of water ingress and damp.
- Lot 7: Internal and External Windows (Low) – Professional cleaning of easily accessible windows to maintain high standards of light and visibility for both tenants and staff.
- Lot 8: Internal and External Windows (High Up to 4 Stories) – Specialised window cleaning at height using reach-and-wash systems or safe access equipment to ensure multi-story buildings remain well-maintained.
- Lot 9: Offices – Comprehensive commercial cleaning services for administrative buildings and staff workspaces to maintain a professional, productive, and hygienic environment.
- Lot 10: Solar Panel Cleaning – Specialised, non-abrasive cleaning to remove environmental build-up and ensure maximum energy efficiency and performance for your renewable energy assets.
- Lot 11: Specialist and Trauma – Highly specialised and discreet cleaning for biohazards, forensic scenes, or extreme hoarding situations, conducted with the utmost sensitivity and technical rigor.
- Lot 12: Voids – Intensive deep-cleaning and sanitization of empty properties to ensure they meet high standards of hygiene and readiness for incoming tenants.
